You can prepare. You can contemplate. You can weigh options, and list pros and cons. You can do a cost/benefit analysis. But if you’re on the end of the high dive, at some point you have to jump.

This was so timely for me, as I was weighing a major career shift. Thanks for affirming my intentions.
The leap I intend to make soon isn’t one I’d “dream” of! I am at the point in my life where there are certain medical issues that need to be addressed; one of them is the use
of the teeth I’ve had since I was 6 or 7 years old; they must go soon! I know that it will benefit my health in the coming years but I hate to “see them go”; we have been through a lot together. However, perhaps I’ll look like a Hollywood model. It will b a new experience for me, but if Geo Washington could do it, so can I!
