WILMINGTON, DE / ACCESSWIRE / January 13, 2015 / Major League Football, Inc. (OTC:MLFB) a new, spring-professional league scheduled to kick off in 2016 is pleased to announce that league President, Wes Chandler, has been chosen as one of 17 members that will be inducted into the 2015 College Football Hall of Fame later this year.

This past Friday the College Football Hall of Fame announced its 2015 class. Among its 17 inductees is Major League Football, Inc.'s President, Wes Chandler whom the selection committee felt was deserving of such a prestigious lifetime honor.

As an All-American Wide Receiver from the University of Florida, Mr. Chandler represented his school with tremendous honor. Though his collegiate career contributed greatly to becoming a future NFL first round draft pick, Mr. Chandler views being named a Two-Time Academic All-American, one of his greatest accomplishments he attained while attending the University of Florida.

"We were thrilled to hear the news that Wes Chandler was selected to the College Football Hall of Fame," said Steve McClain Senior Associate Athletic Director/Communications for the University of Florida." Certainly Wes was one of the great players to wear the Orange and Blue and represent the Gator Nation and he went on to have a storied career in the NFL as well. It's a fitting honor for Wes as he has continued to be an ambassador for the game, serving as a teacher, mentor and coach to countless other students of the game."

As President of Major League Football, Inc. Mr. Chandler has led a community-centric team, that is committed to building fan bases in local communities and developing untapped football talent so more athletes can get a chance to live their dream of playing professional football.

"I want to thank the selection committee at the College Football Hall of Fame for this amazing honor. The fact I've been included with such a prestigious class of men, who in their own right helped define college football, has been very humbling. My fellow inductees are men I have respected and admired at the collegiate level and in their professional lives," Mr. Chandler said.

"To my fellow Florida Gator Alumni and friends, my time at the University set the stage for everything that would follow in my life. The opportunity to play college football, and receive a top flight education, contributed greatly to the success I've enjoyed on and off the playing field," he said.
