Denver Broncos Safety T.J. Ward Lone Oregon Player on Pro Bowl Roster

Former Oregon Duck and Denver Broncos Strong Safety T.J. Ward will be playing in the Pro Bowl according to NFL.com. The fan vote helped to put Ward in the game as the only former Oregon Ducks player this season to play in the glorified scrimmage between the NFC and AFC. In past seasons the game was played at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. This season it will be played in Glendale, Arizona. A move made to help gain some interest in the game.

The Denver Broncos are on pace for the Playoffs and another Super Bowl run, having lost this past Monday night to the Cincinnati Bengals. Ward is in his fifth professional season and is having a solid 2014 with seventy-four tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions. Ward was selected thirty-eighth in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns where he played for the first four years of his career before moving to Denver this past offseason.

Ward could be joined by another former Oregon Ducks or two if other Starters decline the invitation. The biggest hopeful to play in the game and draw for Oregon fans would be Seattle Seahawks Center Max Unger. However this is unlikely unless they lose in the Playoffs. Teams in the Super Bowl will not have players in the Pro Bowl.

The 2015 Pro Bowl will be played on Saturday, January 25th at5pm Pacific Time on ESPN
