BATON ROUGE, La. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns setter Andrea Hole has been named the Louisiana Player of the Year in college volleyball on the All-Louisiana team selected by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Hole led the Ragin' Cajuns to its first 20-win season since 1990 and earned the honor by pulling out a close vote among five players across the state who received votes.

She joins former Ragin' Cajun star Nia Kiggundu as the only two players in program history to receive the LSWA honor, with Kiggundu earning the nod in 1996.

The team was selected based on nominations from the sport playing schools in the state and then the media relations/sports information personnel voted on the list of nominations, but could not vote for any of their athletes.

Hole, a 2013 all-Sun Belt Conference choice and 2014 Preseason All-SBC nod averaged 10.12 assists per set for the year, good for fifth in the Sun Belt Conference. She also ranked second in the league with 21 double doubles.

She was twice the league's Player of the Week and her 1,290 assists this season was the third most all-time at the school.
