The Sporting News also named Mariota its player of the year. Ifo out No doubt, you've heard the news that Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, whose name appears on some All-America lists above, is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. It's not an apocalyptic blow to the Ducks. But you don't want to be facing Winston down one of your best defenders, either. Here's some reaction: Our own Ted Miller weighs in here.
