Skullduggery! is a game about flinging a skull around schools and Egyptian pyramids. Why? I've no idea, as the plot is nearly as absent as skin and flesh in this game.

And, anyway, if you're as much of a fan of skulls and skeletons as I am, that won't bother you. There are plenty of both here.

Nor will, I'm happy to say, this platformer's control scheme bother you. Yeah, sure, it borrows from Angry Birds a lot, but that's because it works.

You pull back the skull's brain with a gross but satisfying gloopy pink stretch, and then let go to fling. Then, off you go, collecting coins, getting headshots, and collecting power-ups.

Skullduggery isn't a game about making the perfect shot, a la Angry Birds. Instead, it's about being quick, avoiding having your skull hit by baseball bats, and escaping fast-moving walls of blades.

There are some epic moments to be had while flinging the skull in mid-air (which triggers slow-motion) into tiny pipes to just escape death...er, again.

Skullduggery

When we reviewed it, we said that "Skullduggery! has a clever control scheme, some brilliant ideas, and a lot of retro charm."

Sounds promising, right? But don't just take our word for it - go and download Skullduggery! for free right now.
