Prep wrestling: Darrington wins Iron Sharpens Iron tourney

BELLEVUE — Darrington had five wrestlers finish first and two finish second to earn first place honors at the Iron Sharpens Iron tournament on Saturday with a team score of 182. Lane Montieth highlighted the day in the heavyweight match with a 8-6 decision over Daniel Fruh (North Beach), the defending 1A/2B state champion at 285.

South Whidbey placed ninth with a team score of 51.
