Workers are beginning to fill the more than 1,300 cracks in the Capitol dome as the next phase of restoration on the 150-year-old American icon begins. The $60 million repair is expected to be completed and the scaffolding removed in time for the 2017 presidential inauguration. (Click on photo below to open gallery)
