RENTON — Sophia Viviano scored four second-half goals for Shorecrest as the Scots came from behind to beat Liberty on Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the 2A state girls soccer tournament.
“She was beast mode,” Shorecrest head coach Mindy Dalziel said of Viviano’s performance. “She fought for every ball and for every shot.”
The Scots went into the locker room at halftime trailing 1-0
“The entire second half for my team was pure heart and guts,” Dalziel said. “We weren’t going home without a win.”
Shorecrest plays Ridgefield in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Friday at Shoreline Stadium.
