Chevy Chase Winter Coat Drive Under Way

Donations will benefit the Betty Ann Krahnke Center and Bethesda Cares

As the weather gets colder, the town of Chevy Chase is gearing up to support organizations who provide for those in need.

The winter outerwear clothing drive is under way and will last until Jan. 1. All clean, gently used warm coats, gloves, mittens, scarves, sweaters, pants and socks are welcome and appreciated.

Donations will benefit the Betty Ann Krahnke Center and Bethesda Cares. The Betty Ann Krahnke Center aims to help women and children in Montgomery County who are victims of domestic violence. Bethesda Cares is a community outreach program for those without a home or are at severe risk of losing their home.
