Receiver Calvin Johnson has missed the last three games for the Detroit Lions with a sprained ankle suffered in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills.

However, Johnson doesn’t anticipate missing any more time watching games from the Detroit sidelines.

According to Tori Petry of the Lions official website, Johnson said Tuesday that he “definitely expects to play” when the Lions return from their bye week to face the Miami Dolphins.

The Lions have managed to survive in Megatron’s absence as Detroit went 3-0 against Minnesota, New Orleans and Atlanta without Johnson in the lineup. Johnson was a limited participant in practice all last week in London prior to their 22-21 over the Falcons. He was listed as questionable but was ultimately held out.

Johnson has 22 catches for 348 yards and two touchdowns on the year.
