Team News: Luke Chambers, Daryl Murphy return for Ipswich Town

Mick McCarthy reinstates captain Luke Chambers and centre-forward Daryl Murphy for the game at Cardiff City.

Ipswich Town have recalled fit-again captain Luke Chambers to their starting XI for tonight's trip to Cardiff City in the Championship.

Daryl Murphy also returns to a Town side that have remained unbeaten in their last eight games, their best run of form for almost five years.

Meanwhile, Russell Slade has recalled Fabio at the expense of Joe Ralls in his only change from the side that beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 in his first game in charge at the weekend.

The last meeting between these two sides was a goalless draw in January 2013.

Ipswich Town: Gerken; Parr, Chambers, Berra, Mings; Skuse, Williams, Bru; Sammon, McGoldrick, Murphy

Cardiff City: Marshall; Brayford, Morrison, Ecuele Manga, Fabio; Noone, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Pilkington; Macheda, Le Fondre
