A Protest at Chanel? If There's Only One Fashion Week Thing You Pay Attention to, It Should DEFINITELY Be This

Just. So. Cool.

Even the most die-hard of fashion addicts can get a little fatigued by the time the end of Fashion Month rolls around. (Four cities, hundreds of shows...hey, we don't blame you.) But we always save a little bit of juice for the last few days of Paris, and specifically for the Chanel show. Because let's face it: It's always the most talked-about fashion event of the season (remember the supermarket scene? Epic!).

And this time around, Mr. Lagerfield certainly outdid himself. The Spring/Summer 2015 show was set as a life-size street scene with an ultra-wide avenue serving as the runway, but models didn't all strut one-by-one in a traditional uniform line—they walked as scattered singles, shoulder-to-shoulder in pairs, or in threesomes…sometimes even talking and smiling at one another. Revolutionary, we know.

As if the unorthodox setup and the countless famous faces walking down the concrete runway (Cara Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, and hello, Gisele Bündchen) weren't enough to grab your attention, the show's finale turned into a full-fledged feminist protest. We're talking bull horns (Chanel-branded and quilted, of course), fist-pumping, shouting models, and picket signs touting everything from "He for She" (shout-out to Emma Watson!) to "History Is Her Story" to "Boys Should Get Pregnant Too." How's that for a fashion statement?

Check out the video below to watch it all go down for yourself, and be sure to tell us what you think in the comments: Are you excited to see such an outspoken display of feminism at Fashion Week? From a male-fronted brand, no less?
