According to the release from the University of Oregon the Kay Yow Cancer Fund will also make a $100,000 research grant to the Oregon Health and Science University Knight Cancer  Institute. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was established in December of 2007 and named after Kay Yow, former NC State University Women’s Basketball Coach who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1987. She died from the disease in 2009 but her vision is what the fund is based upon.

The Oregon Ducks and Arizona Wildcats take the field at Autzen Stadium on Thursday night. It will be the one-hundredth consecutive sellout of the stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm Pacific Time and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
