This is the second injury for the Oregon Ducks recruiting line to face before the Class of 2015 sets foot on campus. Earlier this summer Running Back Recruit Taj Griffin tore his ACL during a high school game. Sweat was considered a five-star athlete before his injury on Friday night and depending on the severity of the injury he may be able to come back and perform at his pre-injury level. He has drawn comparisons to Ja’Deveon Clowney, who suffered a leg injury of his own last weekend with the Houston Texans.

MaxPreps.com said that there was no bone damage and Sweat had his knee put back into place before leaving for the hospital on a stretcher. According to ESPN, Sweat was set to visit Virginia Tech this weekend following more recent visits to Oregon, Florida State, and Georgia Tech.
