The Baltimore Ravens parted ways with running back Ray Rice last week after a video showing him knocking out his then-fiance was released to the public.

The team’s fans now also have the opportunity to cut ties with Rice as well, as the Ravens are allowing folks to exchange their No. 27 jerseys for another player of their choosing Friday and Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium.

Thousands of people arrived for the first day of the exchange, according to the Baltimore Sun.

“What [Rice] did wasn’t right, and I don’t want to wear a jersey of someone who did something like that,” said Zachary Blankenship, 19, who was the first in line and planned to exchange his Rice jersey for that of kicker Justin Tucker.

If the stadium store runs out of any players’ jersey, fans who want that shirt will receive a voucher.

Adult NFL jerseys sell anywhere from about $100-$300.

“There’s a financial aspect to it,” said Ravens fan Jim Duncan, who arrived at the stadium around 6 a.m. Friday. “These are not cheap.”
