Building to Go Up in Flames in Clarksville

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services will be training at the site.

If you see a burning building this week in part of Clarksville, there’s no need to call 911—Howard County firefighters will already be at the scene, conducting training.

Fire and rescue personnel will be training at 11986 Hall Shop Road, doing a live burn on Tuesday, Sept. 16; they will return on Wednesday, Sept. 17, for a demolition burn, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Citizens in the area may see or smell smoke, the department said.
