As per usual they lead the country in one category. Passing. Averaging an eye popping and very much Playstationesque five hundred and seventeen yards per game. Cougars Quarterback Connor Halliday has passed for over fourteen hundred yards and twelve touchdowns on the season and with and Oregon Secondary with some questions following the non conference slate it should be a good test for Don Pellum and the Defense on Saturday night in Pullman, which has never been the easiest place to play.

It will be the first time Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota has played in Pullman, the last meeting in the State was a Qwest Field. Oregon enters the game on a roll offensively, Mariota is a Heisman contender and is responsible for eight touchdowns and over eight hundred yards of offense in 2014. The big name of the Three Headed Monster that is the Oregon Running Game is Freshman Royce Freeman who, outside of Mariota, leads the team with five touchdowns entering Saturday.

The Cougars on the other hand are a one-dimensional passing attack. Statistically the Cougars are ranked one-hundred twenty-third in the nation in rushing, averaging forty yards per game on the ground. Oregon has a more balanced attack with not only a running game, but a quarterback who can run. The Oregon Ducks average two-hundred forty-three yards this season and the ground game has accounted for twelve touchdowns.
