While much of the focus pertaining to the Bulls in the FIBA World Cup has been on Derrick Rose. His new teammate Pau Gasol has been quietly tearing it up for Spain and he did it again versus Brazil racking up 26 points, 9 rebounds and three blocked shots in 29 minutes against NBA veterans like Splitter, Nene and Varejao. Even more importantly, Gasol looks like he has fire in his belly for the first time in a long time.
