BEAST Begins Promotions For ‘BEAST Japan Best’ Album

Boy group BEAST has already begun promotions for their upcoming Japanese album "BEAST Japan Best," which is set to be released on September 17, according to the Korean publication Osen.

The six-member group released the cover image for their album along with a teaser for their bonus track "More Than You Would Think" on their official Japanese website.

BEAST released their album "Beast Works," which only consisted of their hit Korean songs, back in April. The upcoming album will include Japanese versions of their hits in Korea as well as their original Japanese singles.

BEAST has gained quite a bit of K-pop recognition amongst local fans in Japan, topping the Oricon Weekly Chart with their single "Sad Movie" as well as the Oricon Daily Chart with their single "Adrenaline." It seems like the new K-pop idols know exactly what appeals to fans.

"Our music is actually a blend of many different styles. And this diversity also stands for the [genre called] K-pop. We can say that we basically focused on dance music and electronic music on our newest album. Most of our songs feature elements of R&B and dance music. But in short, despite all the various elements that make up our music, we can say what we make [are] 'cheerful pop songs,'" BEAST stated during an interview with the publication Zaman.

The idol group held their "BEAST Japan Tour 2014" earlier this year as well, performing for fans in seven different cities for a total of 12 concerts. All the concerts were sold out with the group performing for a total of 35,000 fans.

The members of BEAST arrived in Japan on August 30 and will be staying in the country for a week to make appearances on variety shows and press conferences to promote "BEAST Japan Best."

A different version of the group's hit "Good Luck" will be released on the same day their Japanese album will be dropping. The explosive success of "Good Luck" has opened many doors for the members of BEAST, leading them to take on roles in musicals and Japanese variety shows.

BEAST was also featured on an article on the Billboard website with the music magazine bringing attention to the unique musical choices for the hit track.

"The most striking part about 'Good Luck' is its production that pairs classical elements like dramatic, orchestral strings and piano melodies with soaring synths and fizzy electronic pops," wrote the music outlet.
