If you like the Foo Fighters, you're in luck: there is a massive wave of Foo Fighters coming your way.

First, according to record producer, Butch Vig, the Foo Fighters' latest album is officially complete. Posted to Vig's Twitter was the following message.

"We are officially done with the new Foo Fighters album. 23 straight days mixing! IT'S EPIC!!!"

This is the band's eigth studio album, which will be released in November. According to Spin, the album still has no title, but may be the longest album in the band's history.

However, don't think you'll be waiting in silence up until that November release date. According to KpopStarz, the group will be starring in a documentary series for HBO, entitled "Sonic Highways." The series will chronicle the band as they record in a number of legendary studios, and will air as a lead-in to the eventual release of the new Foo Fighters album.

The group then described how the series ties in to their latest musical output.

"One song was recorded in each city, every song featuring local legends sitting in, and every lyric written in an unprecedented experimental style: Dave held off on putting down words until the last day of each session, so as to be inspired by the experiences, interviews and personalities that became part of the process.

Each episode delves into the singular regional identity of each city-how each region shaped these musicians in their formative years, and in turn the impact those people had on the cultural fabric of their hometowns-ultimately celebrating their common bond: Every artist that appears in the show, regardless of genre or locale, started as an average kid with the universal dreams of making music and making it big."

KpopStarz also mentions that a tour for the new album will likely begin in late 2014, just after the album's release.

The series will debut on October 17. Check out a video tease of "Sonic Highways" below, and be sure to check back soon for updates on the new album (and a title, maybe) very soon.
