Artist Laurent Gongora “redrew” the shape of a waterfall in France’s mountainous Massif Central region by attaching 24 geometric metal elements to the rock behind the Cascade de Vaucoux. The metal triangles form a diamond in order to divert the torrents of water in unexpected directions.
Gongora’s project is titled Les Cascadeurs, which translates to “the stuntmen” and also relates to the French word for “waterfall.”

If you’re ever walking through Changi Airport in Singapore, make sure to take in this breathtaking art installation by ART+COM. Called Kinetic Rain, it’s composed of two parts, each with 608 rain droplets made of lightweight aluminum covered with copper. Suspended from thin steel ropes, each droplet seem to magically float as they move precisely with one another, thanks to the help of hidden computer-controlled motor.
Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto was recently commissioned by Paris-based art gallery Philippe Gravier to produce this beautifully innovative installation for the FIAC art fair in Paris’ Jardins des Tuileries. The project, titled Many Small Cubes, is composed of stacks of different-sized aluminum cubes balanced in a precarious formation.
Flowers and People, Cannot be Controlled but Live Together, a digital installation by teamLab, consists of four walls covered in projections of beautiful flowers that burst into bloom as visitors approach. This exhibit is just one of many at the Kunisaki Art Festival in Japan, which opened in early October and runs until November 30.
Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman created a giant, 82-foot-tall rabbit sculpture titled Moon Rabbit. The installation, which was created for the Taoyuan Land Art Festival, is currently laying on an old aircraft hangar in Taoyuan, Taiwan at the Dayuan Town Naval Base.
Luzinterruptus’s giant Labyrinth of Plastic Waste sculpture is a maze constructed out of 6,000 old bottles. Presented in Poland at the Katowice Street Art Festival, the installation illustrates an excess of plastic waste.
