Did the Timberwolves Just Hint That They're Dealing Mo Williams to Cleveland?

Subtlety may not be your strong suit, Minnesota Timberwolves. 

After signing veteran point guard Mo Williams to a one-year, $3.75 million contract, the T-Wolves posted the above photo to Instagram, along with the caption: 

The Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday announced that the team has signed guard Mo Williams. Welcome to the team, Mo!

So let's think about this. Williams last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011 and has since played with the Los Angeles Clippers, Utah Jazz and Portland Trailblazers. So why the LeBron James-centric Cavs pic?

His one All-Star appearance came in 2009 when he was playing alongside LeBron James, and for several years he was considered one of James' best teammates.

Ultimately, should this speculation prove keen, this comes down to—you guessed it—Kevin Love. The Love-to-Cleveland deal has been discussed for some time now, and the Timberwolves' cryptic photo may share a large piece of the potential trade. 

While trade laws for veterans coming in sign-and-trades differ deadline-wise from trades governing rookie deals, it may be possible that something is in the works. Perhaps J.J. Barea is involved, and Williams is his replacement? Or maybe the Cavs are just willing to wait a bit before assembling all the pieces.

All we know at this point: It was quite the intriguing choice of photo.
