International Business Times Releases Their 2014 Preseason Top 25, Oregon Ducks in the Mix

The International Business Times has released their look at the upcoming College Football season with their Top 25 poll and Oregon Ducks fans should have no complaints as they are one of the key players in the first year of the College Football Playoff. Of course, this is not the Associated Press or Coaches Poll, which will be out soon enough, but it gives a nice glimpse from a sector of the country.

The top two teams are no surprise with Florida State and Alabama taking first and second. The Oregon Ducks are in third with the Oklahoma Sooners coming in fourth and, if it holds, taking the final spot in the College Football Playoff, but of course we have to play the season first.Oregon is the highest ranked Pac-12 team in the IBTimes poll with Stanford(7) coming in ahead of UCLA(8). Arizona State(14) and USC(18) also make appearances.

One team that many will be keeping an eye on is Michigan State who comes to Autzen Stadium on Saturday, September 6th. The Big Ten is well represented as well with Ohio State entering ahead of Stanford at sixth. Michigan State is just ahead of South Carolina at eleven.

Oregon kicks off the 2014 season hosting South Dakota on Saturday, August 30th(7:30pm PT, Pac-12 Networks)
