Class of 2015: 3-Star QB Ty Griffin Joins His Brother RB Taj Griffin at Oregon
On the first day of Pac-12 Media Days the Oregon Ducks received some good news concerning a recruit. We reported late last season that the brother of Oregon Commit Taj Griffin, Ty – who at the time was looking at leaving Georgia Tech, has in fact decided to join his brother and play in Eugene for the Oregon Ducks. He redshirted last season for the Yellow Jackets and will join Oregon as a member of the 2015 Recruiting Class with his brother.

This certainly adds some intrigue to the future of the Oregon Ducks offense over the coming years. 247Sports lists Taj Griffin as one of the top running backs in the country and Ty was a three star Quarterback coming out of high school before his redshirt season with Georgia Tech. The most recent brothers on the field together(literally) could have happened this season with Oregon and the Robinson Twins. Tyree and Tyrell Robinson committed to Oregon, but Tyrell transferred from the Ducks making a ‘family decision’ earlier this summer.
The addition of Ty Griffin continues to build the Oregon Ducks Class of 2015 as it continues to rise up the Recruiting lists for 2015. The Oregon Ducks coaching staff as a way to make players better and I am looking forward to see how they can help to shape the careers of both Griffin brothers both on and off the field in the years to come.
The 2014 Oregon Ducks kick off the season on Saturday, August 30th hosting South Dakota at 7:30pm Pacific time on Pac-12 Networks.
