On the first day of two days of craziness in Los Angeles for Pac-12 Media Days, the Oregon Ducks were announced on the first day of the event as the Media’s Choice to win the North Division and also the Pac-12 Conference Title. It was the fourth year in a row that Oregon has been picked to win the Pac-12 North Division by the media and the fourth year out of five that Oregon was picked to win the Pac-12 Conference Title, this year being played at the new Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

More from Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks took thirty seven of thirty nine first place votes with two going to Stanford in a near unanimous choice. Oregon was followed by Stanford, Washington, Oregon State, Washington State and California in the Pac-12 North. The Pac-12 South had the UCLA Bruins chosen over USC to win the division and saw UCLA and Oregon matching up for the Pac-12 Conference Title with the Oregon Ducks winning. There is plenty of preseason buzz for both Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota and UCLA Quarterback Brett Hundley, who are both on hand for the two day event.

Both Stanford and USC picked up one vote a piece in the Pac-12 Title game vote by the media. Oregon will be represented by Head Coach Mark Helfrich, Quarterback Marcus Mariota and Linebacker Derrick Malone this week. The regular season starts for the Oregon Ducks on Saturday, August 30th hosting South Dakota at 7:30pm Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
