The Wu Abbott and now film actor/director dropped by The Hot 97 Morning Show to talk to hosts Ebro Darden and Peter Rosenberg.

In addition to promoting his upcoming movie, Brick Mansions, which also stars the late Paul Walker, RZA also talked extensively about the Wu-Tang Clan and the group’s current status.

In his usual diplomatic manner, RZA responded to several comments Raekwon recently made in a Rolling Stone interview:

Raekwon: RZA’s the type of dude where, in the Nineties, he ruled. Now it’s a new day. You’re not attached no more. It’s like being a coach and you won rings back in the day, but now your team is in ninth place. It’s time for a new fucking game plan.

RZA also touched on the current status of the Wu-Tang Clan, the difficulties of navigating through nine different personalities and egos as well as the upcoming group album, A Better Tomorrow, which is still being held up due to internal conflict.
