Oregon Football Recruiting: Ducks Get Visit from Kyler Murray, Possible QB of the Future

facebooktwitterreddit

Duck Sports Authority is reporting that the Oregon Ducks Football program is already looking towards a big hole they will have to fill starting in 2015. I know no one really wants to think about it right now with Marcus Mariota being NFL Draft bound next year,  who will be Oregon’s Quarterback of the Future? It just may be Kyler Murray(Allen, Texas), a dual threat signal caller. His height may be a question at five feet eleven inches and 170 pounds, but the young man can run a 4.52 forty yard dash.Rivals.com is pretty high on this young man.

Rivals rated at a 6.0 overall, meaning he will likely be an All American Candidate and is deemed to have Pro potential. Murray is the ninth highest ranked player out of the state of Texas and listed as a four-star prospect. Acoording to the report he is also high on Texas A&M for his future along with Oregon, where he visited over the weekend and watched Monday’s practice. The Class of 2015 recruit also has offers from over 15 schools, including several Pac-12 foes in California and Arizona State.

National signing day is close to nine months away for the Class of 2015, but Murray is a name to watch for. With the coaches that the Oregon Ducks have on staff his addition could make the 2015 product on the field a little easier to watch.
