Coming off their victory over Arizona on Saturday the Oregon Basketball team is in a seven game winning streak to finish out the regular season and have a 10-8 Pac-12 Conference record. That places them as the #7 seed in the Conference tournament. No seven seed has ever won the tournament, but Dana Altman’s team has been here before, but some of the key players were different last year when they won the Pac-12 Conference Tournament giving them a 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

What is interesting is the Ducks will play round three of the ‘Civil War’ on Wednesday when they face the #10 seed in Oregon State. The Ducks and Beavers split the season series with the game in Corvallis going to the Beavers and the game in Eugene going to Oregon. Oregon State found a way to win against Arizona State in overtime on Saturday in Corvallis. The winner on Wednesday will have a quick turnaround and face #2 seed UCLA on Thursday.

Following Saturdays win over Arizona I believe that Oregon has done enough to get an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament with a 22-8 record, of course another win or two wouldn’t hurt. Oregon and Oregon State tipoff on Wednesday at 6:30pm PT on Pac-12 Networks.
