Chipping in from off the green is hard enough, even for the very best golfers. The late, great Seve Ballesteros said the key to pulling off short-game miracles was to visualise the shot before hitting it. So even Seve might have struggled if he tried it blindfolded.
But that's just what Rory McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Darren Clarke attempted to do ahead of this week's Irish Open at Carton House.
The home favourites, along with other Irish heroes in Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley were among the European Tour stars who tried to chip in to a hole cut approximately 30 yards away while seeing absolutely nothing of the ball or their target.
Some helped it close, some didn't even manage to get it on the green, but did any of them manage to chip in?
