Weekly digest of W3C news and trends: EFF Formal Objection to the HTML WG Draft Charter, subline element, Everest en HTML5 etc.

This is the 24-31 May 2013 edition of a “weekly digest of W3C news and  
trends" that the W3C Communications Team prepares for the W3C Membership  
and public-w3c-digest mailing list (publicly archived [1]) [sent  
separately]. This digest aggregates information about W3C from online  
media, a snapshot of how W3C and its work is perceived in online media.

Notably, in an otherwise rather quiet week :

- over 750 stories about W3C on Twitter in the past week.
- over 2000 mentions of W3C in past week.
- With 62913 Twitter followers, net increase of 614 followers in the past  
week. Best progression Monday 27-May with +140.
- 19 posts that dlvr.it posted between May 19 - May 26 got 22K (+6%)  
clicks with a potential reach to 72.3K (+1%) connections.
- Peaks on 29-May (559 mentions) with top story on “the subline element,  
HTML extension specification” [1], and on 30-May (503) with top story  
“EFF's Formal Objection to the HTML WG Draft Charter” [2].
