4hTitan Insider Terry McCormick reports that the Titans have become “sold on” drafting Miami QB Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick.

Per McCormick, the Titans’ 18-minute talk with Ward at the NFL Scouting Combine proved to be “the big turning point” in the Titans’ evaluation process. The discussion prompted Titans brass to schedule Ward’s top-30 visit, in which Ward reportedly “wowed” attendees with his “alpha personality, astute knowledge of the game and his detailed understanding of the QB position.” The team then sent an “arsenal” of coaches, evaluators and media members to Ward’s Pro Day, which was followed days later by a private workout attended by “reclusive” owner Amy Adams Strunk. Ward is now “on track” to be drafted No. 1 overall and seemingly having “won the entire Titans organization over” during the pre-draft process.

Dak Prescott

4hThe Dallas Morning News reports that Dak Prescott (hamstring) will be a limited participant when the Cowboys begin voluntary workouts on Monday.

On Saturday, Prescott declared that he “could play today” if he had to, now four months removed from hamstring surgery. Monday’s workouts should provide clarity as to the comment’s veracity. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer could have begun voluntary workouts last week, an opportunity shared by all first-year head coaches, but Schotty instead chose to delay the process. Doing so, perhaps, to provide his quarterback with an extra week of prep time—or, maybe, it was to give the front office one last chance to sign Micah Parsons to a record-setting megadeal before team activities begin. Fantasy managers, stay tuned.

5hThe Dallas Morning News reports that it is “unknown” whether Micah Parsons will attend the Cowboys’ voluntary workouts this week.

The Cowboys begin voluntary workouts on Monday. Parsons frequently skips “portions” of these events, which has been a point of contention with the team at times. Late in the 2024 season, he reportedly stated that he planned to attend them this year, perhaps as a sign of good faith. Parsons is scheduled to hit free agency after the 2025 season and expects to sign a record-setting contract before the season begins. His attendance, or lack thereof, could give us an indication as to how the negotiations are proceeding.

Kyler Gordon

7hBears signed CB Kyler Gordon to a three-year, $40 million extension through 2028.

Gordon produced career highs in both forced incompletions (six) and tackles for loss or no gain (eight) as a full-time slot- and box-coverage defender last year. The Bears initially tasked him with a part-time perimeter role in his 2022 rookie season, but the 6-foot, 200-pound player has found his groove as a centerfield disruptor. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, “the deal now makes Gordon the NFL’s highest-paid slot corner.” Gordon has missed two-to-four games in each of his three NFL seasons, though the injuries are promisingly unrelated. The former Washington Husky is the first pick of Bears GM Ryan Poles’ tenure.

Tetairoa McMillan

FA Wide Receiver

14hKPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reports Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan has top-30 visits scheduled with the Patriots, Saints, and Cowboys.

McMillan is one of the top receivers in this year’s draft and will have visits with three teams in need of wide receiver help. After failing to improve its receiver room last season, the Patriots could lean on McMillan as Drake Maye’s new WR1, while the Arizona product would also provide a boost to the Cowboys’ and Saints’ receiver rooms playing opposite CeeDee Lamb or Chris Olave. McMillan also has a previously reported visit scheduled with the Panthers, which was reported late last month. McMillan caught 84 passes for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns last season on his way to earning First-Team All-American honors.

Tom Brady

NFL Quarterback #12

2dThe Athletic’s Vic Tafur reports that Raiders co-owner “Tom Brady likes the idea of rookie quarterbacks sitting and soaking it all in” during the player’s rookie season.

Tafur also notes that after examining Geno Smith’s recent contract extension through 2027, “the Raiders have a clear out after 2026.” Smith’s team-friendly deal keeps the Raiders in play for a quarterback with the No. 6 overall pick, though fantasy managers may be forced to wait a year before drafting said player.

Derek Carr

NO Quarterback #4

2dNFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Derek Carr is believed to have suffered a “significant” injury to his throwing shoulder last year that threatens his availability for next season.

The Saints listed the right-armed Carr with a left-hand injury late in Weeks 15-18 but made no mention of a throwing-shoulder issue. There seems to be more to this story. Carr has not yet decided whether he will undergo surgery but, regardless, it seems clear that the Saints must select a quarterback early in the 2025 NFL Draft at this point.

Patrick Peterson

ARI Cornerback #20

2dCardinals CB Patrick Peterson announced his retirement after 13 seasons.

Peterson will head to Arizona on Monday to officially retire as a member of the Cardinals. Peterson was named to eight Pro Bowls while earning three first-team All-Pro nods. He finishes with 70 career passes defended, 37 interceptions, 608 tackles and three sacks.

Tyler Shough

2dThe Times-Picayune’s Jeff Duncan reports the Saints hosted Louisville QB Tyler Shough for a top-30 visit on Friday.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport made headlines with a revelation concerning Derek Carr’s previously un-reported shoulder issue little more than an hour before Duncan broke the Shough news. This does not seem like a coincidence. With Carr’s 2025 season jeopardized, both by the shoulder injury and his poor play in 2024, the Saints must engage in an exhaustive pre-draft search for a long-term answer at the quarterback position.

TreVeyon Henderson

CLG Running Back #32

2dFOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reports that Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson completed top-30 visits with the Cowboys, Bengals and Panthers.

Schultz adds that Henderson “has had several Zoom meetings with other teams as well.” Henderson generally sits in the Nos. 2-4 spots, positionally, on draft boards. The former Ohio State player cleared triple-digit carry totals in all four college seasons and earned at least 22 targets in 3-of-4. At 5-foot-10, 202 pounds, Henderson is perhaps on the small side, but his dual-threat skillset will make him a fantasy-friendly prospect in year one.
