Fedde bounced back with a solid start against the Royals on Wednesday after struggling in his last outing. He worked around three baserunners through five shutout innings before leaving with two runners on and two outs in the sixth at 94 pitches. The 31-year-old right-hander struck out five. Fedde will take a 3.10 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and a 19/8 K/BB ratio across 20 1/3 innings into a start against the Twins in Minnesota next week.

The 25-year-old right-hander punched out seven batters on the afternoon while issuing only one base on balls. The only hit that he allowed came on a solo home run off the bat of Elly De La Cruz in the second inning, aside from that Miller was incredible. He got six swings and misses on 91 pitches on the impressive day, posting a solid CSW of 30 percent. Miller has been outstanding through his first four starts on the season, registering a 1.85 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and a 24/7 K/BB ratio over 24 1/3 innings. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he squares off against the Rangers in Arlington on Wednesday.

Judge stepped to the plate to face Blue Jays lefty Tim Mayza with two outs in the ninth inning of a tie ballgame, and wound up coming through with an infield single down the left-field line that scored two runs on the play, putting New York ahead for good in this one. The 31-year-old former AL MVP’s ice-cold start at the dish has been well-documented so far, so he certainly needed a moment like this in a big spot. It was his lone hit in five at-bats, but Judge certainly came through when it mattered most.

Varsho belted a two-run homer off Yankees starter Marcus Stroman and also went deep off lefty reliever Caleb Ferguson a couple frames later to record his second career multi-homer performance. It’s the first time he’s accomplished the feat since September 7, 2022. The 27-year-old former catcher is off to a slow start at the dish, batting .218 (12-for-55) with four homers, eight RBI and one steal through 19 games.

Soto also drew a pair of walks, reaching base safely in all five of his plate appearances in this one. The 25-year-old fantasy superstar put the Yankees on the scoreboard in the fifth inning with a run-scoring double off Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman before taking lefty reliever Génesis Cabrera deep for a solo shot -- his fourth big fly of the season -- in the eighth inning. He also drew a pivotal two-out walk in the ninth inning against lefty Tim Mayza to set up ensuing batter Aaron Judge’s go-ahead two-run single.

Ruiz made a big-time statement by ordering a combo meal in his first start since being recalled earlier this week from Triple-A Las Vegas. The central question moving forward for fantasy managers is whether Ruiz can continue to hit for some semblance of power, while also improving his plate skills to the point that his game-changing speed makes a long-term difference for the rebuilding Athletics. He’s certainly worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy formats on the possibility that he’s staying on Oakland’s roster for the remainder of the season.

Miller was called upon to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and wound up working around a leadoff walk to Iván Herrera by striking out Masyn Winn, coaxing a harmless fly out from Alec Burleson and whiffing Brendan Donovan to preserve the victory. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty, who touched triple digits 12 times in this outing, has quickly blossomed into one of the most exciting pitchers in the game. There’s a chance he’s already an elite fantasy closer. He’s converted all four of his save opportunities this season to go along with a 17/4 K/BB ratio across nine innings (seven appearances).

Acuña’s first homer was a 422-foot blast off J.P. France. It was one of two balls he hit 109 mph today, with the other resulting in an error in the third inning. The homer came in his 17th game of the season. His longest homerless drought last year was 14 games.

Abrams welcomed Dodgers rookie Logan Knack to the majors with a 392-foot leadoff blast to right-center field. The 23-year-old rapidly emerging five-category fantasy superstar has gone deep in two of his last three games. He’s batting .295 (18-for-60) with 10 runs scored, five homers, 11 RBI and three steals through 15 contests.

Ohtani accounted for three of Los Angeles’ five hits during Wednesday afternoon’s matinee at Dodger Stadium as Nationals starter Jake Irvin and three relievers combined on a shutout. It was his 10th multi-hit performance of the year already. The 29-year-old fantasy stalwart is off to a stellar start in his Dodgers debut with an astronomical .360 (31-for-86) batting average to go along with 15 runs scored, four homers, 10 RBI and four steals through 21 games.
