Android/iOS: Field Trip, Google's travel-oriented virtual tour guide, is finally available for iOS, continuing the tradition of telling you when you approach interesting stuff anywhere in the world.
Field Trip keeps track of your location and sends you a notification when you're near something cool, whether it's something basic (like restaurants or coupons) or something more travel-oriented (cool architecture, historical landmarks, museums, and so on). When you get that notification, you can then open up the app and read more about it, view other things nearby, and even see it on a map so you can go check it out.
