The Weather Forecast for 1st to 7th October
For most of the first week of autumn, temperatures felt more like summer ones on Tenerife with the week being mainly sunny everywhere and the second half of the week being a real scorcher with temps back into the 30s. The rain did fall most places (north & south) on Wednesday not for very long.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 8th to 14th October
The hot and sunny spell continues for the first part of the week before temperatures settle at a more seasonable mid 20s+ for the second half of the week. On the whole it should be mainly a sunny week with most places having a cloudy Tuesday afternoon. There’s a chance of rain over the weekend but if it happens, it doesn’t look like it will be anything to write home about. The big weather news this week is that snow showers are predicted for Mount Teide on Friday and Saturday

Weather in South Tenerife –  Apart from a cloudy afternoon on Tuesday it will be mainly sunshine this week with some light cloud creeping in during the second half of the week when there will be an outside chance of rain (15-20%). Temperatures will start the week unseasonably hot at over 30C dropping to a perfect 26/27C at the weekend.

Weather in North Tenerife
– Much like the south, mainly sunny except for Tuesday afternoon and Friday with the weekend being a mix of sun and light cloud and a 30% possibility of rain. The. The week starts hot at 27C in the shade before dropping to a very pleasant 23C for the second half of the week.

Weather in East Tenerife – Monday to Wednesday will be sunny, Thursday and Saturday cloud and sun, Friday will be cloudy and Sunday will be sunny with cloudy spells. Like everywhere else it will start hot (28C) and cool down do 23C as the week goes on. There’s a 5 to 35% chance of rain from Thursday evening to Sunday.

Weather in South West Tenerife
– Same as the south, sunny except for Tuesday afternoon with a mix of sun with some light cloud over the weekend when there will also be  the chance of rain (20-25%). Temperatures will start the week at around 31C and end the week at 27C.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be sunny all week in Teide National Park apart from some cloud on Friday afternoon. Things are a bit different on Mount Teide where it will be sunny except for all day Friday and Saturday afternoon when the mountain might experience the first snows of the season. Temperatures in the crater will range from 11C to 18C and on the summit it will vary between 0C and 6C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show sunshine everywhere.
