Having wowed the judges with her amazing performance on Saturday night, X Factor hopeful Tammy Cartwright's future on the show looked bright. However it was reported earlier this week that the hopeful had quit at bootcamp to care for her brother.

Revealing how she found her experience - albeit short - on the X Factor, the talented singer, who wowed the judges with her rendition of Jennifer Hudson's 'One Night Only', admitted to Entertainmentwise's Georgie Barrat that going on the show was like respite for her.

She said: "I really enjoyed it. Everybody made me feel very comfortable. It was a lovely rest for me to be honest. It was a respite."

Asked if she would audition again next year, Tammy continued:

"Definitely, if I can next year I will but a year is a long time to wait so who knows what will happen but if I'm able, I'll definitely audition again."

Whilst Tammy may have quit the X Factor, we won't be seeing her on The Voice after she revealed: "I didn't get The Voice."
