According to Contact Music, Si has offered to pay for Brit's wedding, if she'll agree to cameras filming her nuptials! The X Factor boss wants Britney and fiance Jason Trawick to wed on the 'X Factor USA', which would obviously be a HUGE ratings hit!

Simon is convinced the on-screen nuptials would be watched by millions, and is willing to put his money where his mouth is, saying:

"I'm happy to have the wedding on the show. I'll pay for it. Why not?"

Simon may think it's a great idea but what does the bride to be think? Well we're pretty sure she'd be against another public marriage after photos and footage from her second wedding to Kevin Federline were beamed around the world, and look how that marriage ended!

Britney does have one thing to say about Simon's idea though, admittng "It'll be a fun after-party."

Meanwhile Ms Spears has admitted that she's "ecstatic" that the 'X Factor USA' will be competing with her former rival Christina Aguleria and her show 'The Voice' for ratings.

Britney was asked by Access Hollywood about what she thought about going up against Christina, to which she joked she was "Ecstatic!", before adding: "I’m elated. I find they’re both really interesting shows."

Playing down any rivalry between herself and Christina, Britney added: "In all honesty, I do feel like they’re two totally different shows. So you can’t really compare the two.”

Simon Cowell has been more outspoken on the rivalry though, admitting it's "mean-spirited and I am p***ed off about it because I think there is kind of a gentlemen’s agreement."
