High fiber foods such as dried fruit, cabbage and oatmeal are ideal for this, and one way to increase your fiber intake is to add raw bran to your baked food, meatloaf or breakfast oatmeal. As an added bonus, your chances of developing colon cancer are lower, if you eat plenty of fiber.
