Our ovaries skipped a beat when the lovely Dermot O'Leary bonded with X Factor contestant Melanie Masson's adorable kids on Saturday night's show and now their mum has revealed the telly presenter was so smitten she thinks he wants to adopt them!

Whilst Melanie was busy on the X Factor stage stunning the judges with her amazing voice, Dermot was on babysitting duty backstage as he took care of Melanie's two super cute children.

Entertainmentwise's Georgie sat down with the lovely Melanie for a chat this week and guess which topic came up- those lovely kids of course! Mel admitted that it looked like Dermot had fallen for her tots, saying she thinks the engaged star is "broody".

Aside from planning Dermot's future family, Melanie also spoke to Entwise about the controversy surrounding her audition on Saturday night claiming despite her previous professional career as a singer she "still hasn't had a big break."

We reckon Dermot would make an amazing dad plus he has pretty much the coolest job in the world for his kids to brag about!
