McIlroy to skip Grand Slam of Golf

US PGA champion Rory McIlroy will not take part in the Grand Slam of Golf later this year due to a scheduling conflict.
The Grand Slam of Golf, which pits the year's four major winners against each other over a 36-hole strokeplay event, takes place on October 23 and 24 at Bermuda's Port Royal Golf Course.
But McIlroy has already declared himself for the European Tour's BMW Masters, played at Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai from October 25-28.
Keegan Bradley, the 2011 US PGA champion and winner of last year's Grand Slam of Golf, replaces McIlroy and will be up against Bubba Watson, Webb Simpson and Ernie Els.
