The Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 20th to 26th August
At last a week without incident, although the heatwave that lasted half of the week kept temperatures at unbearable levels; not good conditions for walking on Tenerife. It was mostly sunny with some cloudy spells that affected all of the island especially. The big surprise of the week was that it actually rained for a short period on Thursday in parts of the south of Tenerife and during the night in the north. The week ended on a sunny and slightly less hot note.

Weather Forecast for Tenerife from 27th August to 2nd September
It looks like August will end on a hot and sunny week everywhere across Tenerife. It might be a bit too hot at the start of the week but temperatures should be perfect from Thursday until Sunday.

Weather in South Tenerife
–  Once again it will be a hot and sunny week. Temperatures will rise slightly from Monday to Wednesday when they could reach the mid 30s before dropping into the upper 20s for the rest of the week. It could be a breezy weekend in the south and when wind speeds change from 0 to 30kph in south and south west areas and not in the north, that can often mean calima.

Weather in North Tenerife
– It should be a stable and sunny week in the north of Tenerife with almost perfect temperatures of between 25/27C.

Weather in East Tenerife –  Almost exactly the same as the north, hot and sunny with temperatures of 24/27C all week.

Weather in South West Tenerife – The weather forecast for the south west is the same as that for the south of Tenerife. Very hot until Wednesday then just hot for the weekend. It will also be breezy over the weekend.

Weather in the Mount Teide Crater – It will be sunshine all week on Mount Teide and in Teide National Park. Temperatures in the crater will range from 21C to 23C and on the summit it will vary between 8C and 9C.

So far today webcams around Tenerife show mostly sunshine across Tenerife.
