Beer Fear Fever! X Factor's Lucy Spraggan Enters iTunes Top 10 With Original Song

Lucy Spraggan's X Factor audition has helped her original material shoot into the iTunes Top 10 overnight.

It's not unusual for a song somebody sings on the show to make a chart comeback, but this is the first time one of the contestant's own renditions has registered on the rankings whilst they are still in the competition.

Spraggan went down a storm on last night's episode with her song about 'Beer Fear', and as a result her tune 'Last Night' from her album Top Room at the Zoo, which was released independently last October, has scaled as high as No10 (at time of writing).

The album, which was released independently last October, is currently No7 on the online store's long-player chart.

Spraggan will (SPOILER ALERT!) be mentored by Tulisa if she makes it through the Boot Camp stage, and is currently fourth favourite to win with bookies. Kye Sones, Ella Henderson and Jahmene Douglas form the top three.
