Stooshe have slammed the X Factor after saying they have worked hard for their success unlike the stars on the reality talent show.

Talking to The Metro, the 'Love Me' singers revealed that they were happy that they didn’t use the X Factor to get a break into the industry and worked hard for their success.

"I think it’s been so much more rewarding when you know you’ve worked off your own back, rather than being thrown into everyones’ faces," said Karis Anderson of the London-based trio.

"We've come out of south London and worked hard, wrote our songs on the album and had fun with it, and kind of let it grow organically without forcing it into people’s faces," she added.

It sounds like the feisty trio, who recently peaked at number three on the UK charts with 'Black Heart', may not be on the good side of the likes of Alexandra Burke and JLS who all got their break on the show.
