Pink On X Factor, The Voice And American Idol Snubs: 'People Would Hate Me'

Whilst there are celebrities who would jump at the chance to be a reality TV talent show judge, popstar Pink has revealed that she rejected offers from the three biggest talent shows in the US, The X Factor USA, American Idol and The Voice.

Believing that people would ending up "hating" her for her honest comments if she was a judge, the singer told Australia's Herald Sun:

"I was offered The Voice in Australia plus American Idol and The X Factor. I said no because you can't be honest."

Joking that media mogul Simon Cowell is the only person who can get away with being mean on talent shows, Pink continued:

"People will hate you if you're honest. Simon Cowell is the only person who gets away with it because he's got an accent. And he's a man.

"People would just hate me more than they already do. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. Besides, you can sing karaoke anywhere."

Hmm, we're not sure. Jennifer Lopez, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger all came through the reality TV talent show judge process pretty unscathed.
