WATCH: Dermot O'Leary Watch Out! Peter Andre Eyes X Factor Presenting Job

Current X Factor host Dermot O'Leary better watch his back as Peter Andre has revealed that he would love to have his job.

Despite having experience in the music industry, the reality TV star revealed to us that he would rather front the show than sit on the panel and judge talent.

Describing the role as host as the "ultimate job", Peter told us:

"I want to do what Dermot does on the X Factor. That's the ultimate job because no one hates you. Everyone loves you."

We're sure Peter's new girlfriend Emily MacDonagh will be proud to see her man on The X Factor stage. Speaking of Emily, in his recent New! magazine column, Pete dismissed the notion that the age gap between him and Emily, 22 was an issue.

He wrote: "A lot has been made of the age gap between us but she turns 23 this week and we don't even think about the age difference - it's irrelevant.

"I'm really, really happy and although it's very early days with Ems and we're just seeing how it goes, she's a beautiful girl and I'm loving spending time with her."
