X Factor USA winner Melanie Amaro has unveiled her first single since winning the talent show back in 2011. The song 'Don't Fail Me Now' is the first single from her upcoming Epic Records album.

After winning the X Factor USA title, and a $5 million dollar recording contract, Amaro headed straight into the studio under the guidance of X Factor judge L.A Reid and with the help of producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and writer Livvi Franc

Speaking to The Examiner earlier in the week, Amaro said: "Sooo excited to see all the love about the single coming out,"

"I love my fans thank you guys sooo much!"

Simon Cowell, Amaro's mentor on the show, had extremely positive things to say about his former contestant. According to Us Weekly, the media mogul said: "She's someone who can sell records all over the world, and I think she's got longevity.

"She's got that star ability, and she's tough."

L.A Reid, Epic Record executive and producer on Amaro's album added: "She is a proven champion who is destined for success."
