The Angry Factor! Nicole Scherzinger Left 'Fuming' After Flight Mishap

Whilst the majority of us settle with sitting on a long haul flight with our knees around our ears in economy class, there appears to be one person who refuses to do the same...ahem, X Factor's Nicole Scherzinger.

It is believed that the star was left "fuming" when X Factor bosses booked her into economy on a flight from London to LA. Outraged by their actions, The Sun reports Nicole shelling out thousands of pounds to get a seat in the spacious first class after being refused a free upgrade.

Having had to pay out £3,500 for the luxury of having more leg room, an insider said:

"Nicole was fuming. She always flies first-class but she was amazed to find that she had been booked into economy.

“The X Factor books all of her flights — but she hadn’t expected this. Nicole spent 20 minutes trying to get BA to upgrade her but in the end she had to put her hand in her pocket. There were a few mutterings about Simon Cowell being a tightwad.”

The star's distress appeared to have gone by the time she arrived back in LA, tweeting:

"I'm off back to LA now, but I luv u UK. Until next time... God Bless:) and big ole twitter hugs xoxo"
