The style stakes were on yesterday as X Factor judges Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos arrived yesterday at Liverpool's Echo Arena for the first day of the X-Factor bootcamp stage.

The former N-Dubz singer, who had to pull out last minute of her planned appearance at GuilFest over the weekend due to illness, was in a bubbly mood as she was spotted leaving the arena dressed stylishly in an animal print jacket and a pair of black leather shorts, with her hair in a casual plait.

Scherzinger, who had only been confirmed as a judge just a month ago, caused quite a stir with the crowd as she arrived during the early hours of yesterday. The ex-Pussycat Doll showed off her slender figure in a pair of silver spray-on jeans which she teamed with a printed T-shirt and a black waistcoat.
