Demi Lovato On X Factor USA Judging Style: 'I Just Speak My Mind'

Following yesterday's report that Demi Lovato slammed a duo who rapped about drugs during their X Factor USA audition we're not surprised to hear the star revealing that her judging style is just to "speak her mind".

Appearing in an official X Factor USA Youtube video, Demi can be seen telling reporters:

"I just speak my mind. Sometimes I've been called the toughest judge but I can also be really really nice and I try to make people laugh as much as possible because it's all about having fun."

Addressing her constant "squabbles" with fellow judge Simon Cowell, Demi added: "When Simon and I banter back and fourth, it's all in good fun."

The star along with L.A. Reid and Britney Spears clarified why they walked out of an audition earlier this week. Claiming that a drag queen's rendition of one of Britney's hits was horrific, L.A. admitted:

"Oh, my god, it was just horrible. He thought he was going through. He thought that the cheers were because he was doing such a great job, when the truth is he was horrific. We just couldn't take it anymore.''

The new season of the X Factor USA kicks off on September 12. We can't wait, can you?
