WATCH: Britney Gets Bitchy On New X Factor USA Promo

If you thought Britney Spears was going to be all sweetness and light on the X Factor USA, you thought wrong because a new preview clip of the show has shown Britney being anything but.

In the short promo clip, the star can be seen sitting next to L.A. Reid in a montage of clips, and telling hopefuls: "You can't destroy that song, sweetie" and saying that performances are "very predictable."

Making a joke of Simon's notoriety of giving very honest feedback, a voice over can be heard asking: "Has America's sweetheart been hanging out with Simon Cowell for too long?"

Since starting the show, Britney has been plagued by reports that she hasn't been able to cope on the show. However Simon has dismissed the claims, stating that she has been working hard on the show. Talking to People magazine, Simon said recently:

"She's actually there to prove to the world there's more to her, and she's got the ability to do this job really well. She's taken the role really seriously."

Complimenting the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker, the media mogul told X17 Online: "She's working out great, I mean, all these reports that we've fallen out, it's nonsense. She's doing a great job."
